Helga has over 30 years of experience in the tourism business. She is a specialized tour/driver guide of the South West peninsula Reykjanes with her education from MK guide school and later has received a full license of tour guiding in all of Iceland from the same guide school. Her main foreign language is English, ubt she also guides in Danish. Her major interest is informing visitors to Iceland about her interesting and beautiful country. Daytrips in the South West is her favourite and she is equipped with a comfortable mini-bus.

Helga graduated from the Commercial College of Iceland and devoted her skills to working many years for the municipality office in her hometown, Reykjanesbær before joining the tourism business.

Alongside guiding, running the management of her own whale watching company for 15 years, Helga has specialized in educating the passengers about marine life on her whale watching vessels. A part of her experience in tourism is also a receptionist at a hotel, Meet & Greet service at the arrivals hall in the international airport, teaching tourism at a secondary comprehensive school and giving information to visitors at the local tourist information centre in Reykjanesbær.
